WHAT'S IN SKITTLES?
SKITTLES FRUITY CANDY — FAR FROM HOMEMADE™
RAPID REVIEW
Information updated October 2024
Once upon a time, Skittles Fruity Candy contained real fruit juice . . .
Today, Skittles do not list real fruit juice as an ingredient . . . just the flavors of fruits in the form of Natural and Artificial Flavors. Skittles contain multiple ingredients which are banned at Whole Foods Market including Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Artificial Flavors and 10 Artificial Colors including Titanium Dioxide.
One serving of Skittles (61.5g) contains 45 grams of Added Sugar >> this is almost double the amount of Added Sugar which the American Heart Association recommends a child consume in an entire day.
TITANIUM DIOXIDE as ARTIFICIAL COLOR in SKITTLES
