Here’s what was once in Campbell’s condensed Chicken Noodle Soup and what’s in it today >> many of the ingredients used then and now are ones we would never use at home to make Chicken Noodle Soup including the now version with MSG, Sugar and Soy Protein Isolate. NOW: Seen below, Potatoes were once the #1 ingredient in Campbell’s condensed Cream of Potato Soup and now it is Water even though we’re directed to add more Water or Milk to the condensed soup for preparation. TOMATO SOUP
THEN VS. NOW: Shown below, Campbell’s condensed Tomato Soup once had no Water as an ingredient and now Water is the first and third ingredient even though we’re directed to add more Water or Milk to the soup for preparation. It used to have real Butter and nine ingredients and now it has no Butter and 12 ingredients including two FDA-recognized Preservatives.
